Digital Business Cards

Create shareable digital business cards with QR codes that anyone can scan and save

What Are Digital Business Cards?

Digital business cards are a modern alternative to traditional paper business cards. Instead of handing out a physical card, you share a unique link or QR code that opens a professionally styled page with all your contact details.

  • Unique link and QR code — each card gets its own URL (e.g. ezilinks.com/card/john) and a scannable QR code
  • Save as a contact — visitors can tap "Save Contact" to download a .vcf vCard file directly into their phone's contacts
  • Add to Wallet — recipients can add your card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for quick access
  • Always up to date — update your details anytime and everyone with the link sees the latest version
  • Track engagement — view counts let you see how many times your card has been visited
Plan requirement: Digital Business Cards are available on the Creator Pass and Agency plans. Free plan users will need to upgrade to access this feature.

Creating Your First Card

Setting up a digital business card takes just a few minutes. Follow these steps to create and publish your first card.

1 Go to Digital Cards

Click "Digital Cards" in the sidebar navigation menu.

2 Click "Create New Card"

Click the "+ Create New Card" button at the top of the page. This opens the card editor where you can enter all your details.

3 Fill in the Card Details

Enter your contact information in the form fields:

  • Name (required) — your full name as you want it displayed on the card
  • Title — your job title or role (e.g. "Marketing Director")
  • Company — your company or business name
  • Email — your contact email address
  • Phone — your phone number
  • Website — your website URL
  • Address — your business address

4 Add Social Links (Optional)

Connect your social media profiles so visitors can find you across platforms. Supported networks include:

  • Facebook
  • Twitter/X
  • LinkedIn
  • Instagram
  • GitHub
  • YouTube

5 Choose a Card Theme

Select from the available card themes to control the overall look and feel of your public card page. Options include Modern, Classic, and more.

6 Pick a Card Colour

Customise the accent colour of your card to match your personal or company branding. This colour is used for headings, buttons, and highlights on the public card page.

7 Upload a Photo (Optional)

Add a profile picture that will be displayed prominently on your card. A professional headshot works best and helps recipients recognise you at a glance.

8 Click Save

Click the "Save" button to create your card. Your digital business card is now live and ready to share.

Tip: You can come back and edit your card at any time. Changes are reflected immediately on the public card page — no need to re-share the link.

Managing Your Cards

All your digital business cards are displayed in a grid layout on the Digital Cards page, making it easy to manage multiple cards at once.

Card Overview

Each card in the grid shows a summary including:

  • Name — the name on the card
  • Title — your job title
  • Company — your company name
  • View count — how many times the card has been visited
  • Status — Published or Draft

Available Actions

  • Edit — click on a card to open the editor and update any details
  • Delete — permanently remove a card you no longer need
  • View — preview the public card page to see exactly what visitors will see
  • Copy Link — copy the card URL to your clipboard for quick sharing
  • QR Code — each card has its own unique QR code that links directly to the card page
Warning: Deleting a card is permanent and cannot be undone. The card URL and QR code will stop working immediately.

Sharing Your Card

There are several ways to share your digital business card with others.

Share the Link

Every card has a unique URL in the format ezilinks.com/card/shortCode (e.g. ezilinks.com/card/john). You can copy this link and share it via email, messaging apps, social media, or anywhere else you would share a URL.

Use the QR Code

Each card comes with its own QR code. When someone scans the code with their phone camera, it opens your card page instantly. You can print the QR code or display it digitally in:

  • Email signatures
  • Presentations and slide decks
  • Printed materials (brochures, flyers, posters)
  • Conference badges or name tags
  • Your website or social media profiles

What Visitors See

When someone visits your card page, they see a professionally styled page that includes:

  • Your photo and contact details (name, title, company, email, phone, website, address)
  • Save Contact button — downloads a .vcf vCard file that adds you directly to their phone's contacts
  • Add to Wallet — options for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes for quick access
  • Your social media links with icons for each platform
View tracking: Every time someone visits your card page, the view count increases. Check your Digital Cards page to monitor how many times each card has been viewed.

Tips and Best Practices

Get the most out of your digital business cards with these recommendations:

Use a professional photo: A clear, high-quality headshot makes a strong first impression and helps recipients put a face to the name.
Keep it concise: Use a short, clear job title and company name. Visitors should be able to understand who you are and what you do at a glance.
Choose relevant social links: Only add social media profiles that are relevant to your audience. A business-focused card might include LinkedIn and Twitter/X, while a creative professional might include Instagram and YouTube.
Share the QR code everywhere: Add your card's QR code to email signatures, presentation slides, printed materials, and even your phone's lock screen for easy sharing at events and meetings.
Track your views: Monitor the view count on your cards to measure engagement. If you are sharing the card at an event or in a campaign, check the views to see how many people followed through.
